Worthy Grand Knights,

At the Midterm DD and GK meetings we introduced the new Evangelization and Faith Formation Directorate and the COR initiative (EFF/COR).

It is time to implement the structure required to move ahead with this new initiative. Each Grand Knight should appoint a Council Evangelization and Faith Formation Director. This new director should treated as the Membership and Program Directors. The Council Evangelization and Faith Formation Director will report to the Grand Knight and have oversight of the COR initiative.

The responsibilities of the Council Evangelization and Faith Formation Director are below:

Council Evangelization & Faith Formation Director:

1. Appointed by and reports to the Grand Knight.
2. Promotes and communicates directives, opportunities, and goals of the State Council concerning evangelization and faith formation.
3. Collaborates and consults with State EFF Director on these initiatives.
4. Collaborates and consults with the pastor and/or Council Chaplain on these initiatives.
5. Manages and coordinates Cor – free to delegate and involve members of the council as needed or desired.
6. Collaborates and consults with Council Membership and Program Directors – works to ensure centrality of Christ and infuse all council communication, programs, and activities with the mission and purpose of evangelization and faith formation within the Order.
7. Assists council leadership with this strategic planning.

*Appoint your Council Evangelization and Faith Formation Director and submit his information on the EFF/COR Council Registration Form. The form is available under the COR tab of the state website or by CLICKING HERE

Please complete the form at your earliest convenience but no later than 3/22/24.

We believe that the establishment of the Evangelization and Faith Formation Director and the COR initiative are both timely and needed in the world we face today. We look forward to working with you and the new Council Evangelization and Faith Formation Directors in this effort.

Once the Council Evangelization and Faith Directors are established, we will be conducting video calls and providing additional information and direction.
